To conduct and certify Train The Trainer of NHO for Asia Pacific region. The countries have been covered: Brunei, China, Malaysia, Singapore, and Indonesia, Myanmar.

Primary role as Country HR

Overall role:

Responsible for HR practices to ensure Completely Compliance in HR function in terms of Global policies and Local policies/ laws. Working with Centers of Excellence (CoE), Legal function for using their service to consult and support business leaders in term of Compensation benefits, Talent Acquisition for both experience and university fresh graduate, talent management, succession plan, employee relation and engagement, learning and development to serve the goals of nationalization and diversity.

Advisor role: Provide guidelines and ensure employment practices are met with local practices, ensure HR practice is competitive against benchmarking among Oil & Gas industry. Communicating any changes required or update best practice, where to improve with solutions to business leaders.

Change agent: Primary initiates local needs and review best practices, propose and work with CoE to decide if changes are required. Consulting and selling HR core values added to business leaders. 

Local projects: working as HR practitioner to deliver the harmonization and change work culture within the context of Merge and Acquisition of Baker Hughes, including 5 legal entities within the context of internal and external integrations.   • Human resources : monitor and support office staffs at all activities relating to HR such as : build up company policies on recruitment, disciplinary, benefits, hiring, Insurance, dismiss, appraisal……..update new laws. Reconciliation all disputes relating employees. Training and developing office staffs.
  • Administration: process all documentations needed to get licenses, work permit, control company assets and tool, security, liaison with local government, all activities on HSE.
  • Logistics/ warehouse: Coordinate with logistics staff in preparing shipping documents in accordance with L/C, ensure im-ex activities are compliance with customs laws, contact shipping agents for im-ex process, calculate container volume to ensure shipping every desired cargos, ensure monitoring liquidation timely, solving problems with customs.   • Purchasing: orienting office staffs to ensure all materials are on time for production and shipment schedules. Go along with orders from customers to plan PO follow up inventory. Check and monitors all random inspections on input and output quality. Evaluate local vendors and do negotiation for best service, price and quality.
  • Accounting/ Finance : Give direction for chief account to balance revenue and expenses, make sure all records and transactions are compliance with Vietnamese tax regulations in considering company situations, support Tax settlement yearly. Control and adjust expenses within budget……
  • Production : Planning for production according to L/C and shipping schedule as well as purchasing planning to keep production on time. Release orders and monitor production plan to ensure delivery time. Checking production status to trace supplier for delivery material as well as material import. Checking shipping schedules from agents to get proper shipping line.
