“Science Research Methods”  and "Application of SPSS  & SmartPLS in research" 

INTRODUCTION

  Currently, the use of analytical tools for quantitative studies are becoming more popular in the field of Economics, Business Administration, Marketing, Banking - Finance. With the desire to improve the quality of the research thesis  (bachelor, master, doctor) or  scientific articles published in the prestigious  research journal, Song Hanh Institute of Business Administration  organizes course " Scientific Research Methods " and "Application of SPSS  & SmartPLS in research"  for high school students, graduate students , college students and those who need to use SPSS and data analysis SmartPLS to serve scientific reports, perform scientific research, etc. .

 COURSE TARGET

The course aims to provide learners contents as follows:

 1. The contents of the training program

1.1 Course "  Scientific Research Methods " includes contents:

• Methods of identifying research topics

• Method of reading and writing literature review

• Design research

• The sampling method

• The method of collecting primary data and secondary

• Writing and presenting research report

 1.2 Course " Data Analysis with SPSS & SmartPLS - Basic "

• Overview of data analysis, an overview of SPSS & SmartPLS

• Encrypting, entering and cleaning data

• Descriptive statistics, frequency tables, graphs, tables combined

• The assumption of linear regression model

• Overview of correlation - linear regression

• Presenting  the report.

 1.3 The course " Data Analysis with SPSS and SmartPLS - Advanced "

• Overview of quantitative research methods

• Multiple linear regression with SPSS & SmartPLS

• The assumption of linear regression model

• Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA)

• Inspection of the scale, integrated situations EFA, Cronbach's Alpha, regression

• Others.

TIME SCHEDULE

- Length: last 01 month, 03 sessions /week

- Hours: 3 hours/session (including 20 minutes time-break)

- Evening: from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm

The course will be held at SIB's headoffice.
