TIME MANAGEMENT SKILL

TARGET

The prerequisite target of program “Time management skills” is to promote the process perform of methods, skills and apply tools in time management skills, balance between work and life to increase effective work, avoid waste time, improve performance while ensuring sufficient time of rest to recover the ability to work and do not become overloaded which reduce performance work The end of program, employees of the company hope :

• Mastering the methods in order to manage time successfully.
• Applying expert prioritize technical.
• Selecting and applying effectively the schedule management system.
• Knowing how to delegate tasks.
• Doing  well  about setting the target and planning the work.
• Realizing that time is one of the most valuable assets to change more effectively in the time management in job and life.
• Understanding the principles and skills of the effective time management. Then applied to increase the quality of work & quality of life.
• Knowing how to use the time management methods into  the job & life.
• Applying SMART tool (Goal Setting) in the time management with  the most effective way.
• Applying the System Approach Methods: Think - Plan – Do.

TEACHING METHOD

In each of the report, background knowledge about concepts and key tools will be provided for participants. Then, the concepts will be applied to many different situations. The main content will be integrated in the package lectures by PowerPoint programs, both Vietnamese and English language.

To maximize the benefit of learners, our lecturers will use prior the method of presentations, discuss and resolve situational exercises  to interact with learners. Presentation is used for the purpose of knowledge transfer platform which include concepts and theories related analysis tools and how to use. Discussion is used to find out the strengths and limitations of the concepts, theory and its applications. The situational exercises are used to apply the theories and analysis tools into practice, consolidate knowledge and practised ability for learners.

For the learners, in order to reap the knowledges and practical skills when participating in the course, we encourage all learner to read lessons before each lesson, refer to the documentation which is provided by the lecturers and devote more time to practice outside of the classroom practice.

ASSESSMENT AND CERTIFICATION

Learning result  of each learner is evaluated based on the learning process. In each lesson, learners have to do small exercises and discussing together.

Simultaneously, learners need to complete a course evaluation forms precisely and transparently, SIB will be based on all the criteria to make a decision on the certification for learners.

TIME SCHEDULE

- Duration: The course takes place in 01 month, 03 sessions/week

- Hours: 3 hours/session (including 15 minutes  break time)

- Evening: from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm

VENUE

The course will be held at SIB's headoffice.
